Mosquito Creek Wildlife Area–Mallard Pond (view from Maham Denman Road only)
While Mallard Pond lies within the refuge section of the wildlife area where entry is prohibited, the pond may be viewed from a pull-off on Maham Denman Road. We have added the restriction about birding from the roadside only to this hotspot name. Wildlife officers have asked that birders not enter the pond area as it is in the refuge. Thanks to Ethan Kistler for alerting us to this.
