Updates to County and State Top Hotspot Lists
This week I updated the list of Top 10 Hotspots on each county page. For Cuyahoga County click on the image to the right or navigate to your favorite county. On each county page there is a list of up to 10 hotspots with the most species reported in that county.
On the home page there is a list of the 35 birding locations in Ohio with the most species reported. That list has been updated this week. Click on the image below to go to the home page.
New eBird Hotspots
Beaver Creek State Park–Oak Hill Trail and Logans Loop

Thanks to Chris Lamb for suggesting this hotspot. Damascus Cemetery is located on the east side of Valley Road south of US-62 near Salem. A large flock of Pine Siskins has been observed at this cemetery.
Black River Nature Preserve Bluebell Valley
Bluebell Valley is located on Richman Road near Lodi. Visitors can expect to experience beautiful views of grasslands and woodlands, interesting walking trails, and lush habitat for butterflies and migrating birds. This area was part of a wetland mitigation and stream restoration project in 2002 that restored 8,000 linear feet of the Black River.
