Republic Landfill Grasslands and Airfield
We have added “Grasslands and Airfield” to this hotspot name to help birders know that there is no entry to the landfill itself. The grasslands and airfield adjacent to the landfill provides a place to view birds in the landfill area. Please do not enter or go past the office building into the active landfill. No permission or entry is allowed past that point. In winter, gulls can be viewed with a scope from the airfield hill.
New Feature Complete
Ohio Birding Day Hikes
There are 307 pages of Ohio Birding Day Hikes. With a few exceptions, this list includes locations that have trails that provide 2 or more miles of hiking. Hikes may often be shortened or lengthened.
If there is a park or trail where you like to hike and see birds that we do not yet have in this collection, please suggest that we add it.
