Blachleyville is at the crossroads of Blachleyville Road (OH-95) and Elyria Road. While not within the wildlife area itself, it is in the vicinity of Funk Bottoms Wildlife Area. Elyria Road going south from Blachleyville has views of Funk Bottoms. This is a busy road so use care when birding in the area. There are not many good places to pull off and observe birds in the marsh. There is room to park on McKee Road at the intersection with Elyria Road and view the marsh from there.

Located at 3875 South Elyria Road is a Scotts Miracle-Gro sod plant. Behind this property, Sandhill Cranes, shorebirds, and waterfowl can be found. Stay out if the plant is closed. If the plant is open, you can go inside and sign in to let them know you are there. Otherwise, you will be trespassing.
