About Van Wert Reservoirs
Encompassed by Rotary Park, the reservoir recreation area is located at the Van Wert Reservoirs on South Washington Street behind the Van Wert County Hospital. This area has been developed to provide boating and fishing as well as a 3.1-mile Health Trail, a nature area, sledding in the winter, and plenty of parking. The boat dock, a handicap dock, and a wheelchair-accessible dock can be found on the South Reservoir and is accessible from Peter Collins Road.

The west side of the north reservoir has restrooms with a pavilion and picnic facilities.
The southern 100-acre reservoir has a handicap-accessible fishing pier and a boat ramp.
