Activity abounds at Metzger Park! Mary C. Metzger donated the park’s 88 acres of land and stipulated in her will that it only be used for parks and recreation purposes. The 200 car parking lot provides space for visitors to enjoy the amenities this park has to offer. The largest pavilion, featuring a fireplace and electricity, is a favorite rental space for larger gatherings.

The Louisville community built the “Magical Rainbow Playground” which provides hours of fun for youngsters. The park also includes two baseball fields, two soccer fields, picnic areas, and miles of biking, walking, and running paths. Each path has mileage markers for the convenience of all fitness levels.
