About this Location

The Fairhope Nature preserve was dedicated in 2011. The Canton community celebrated the dedication of the preserve by planting trees, cutting a grapevine “ribbon”, stocking fish, while enjoying crafts refreshments.

The Clean Ohio funds obtained for this project can only be used to preserve and protect valuable natural resources such as wetlands, streams, and woodlands. Funds for this preserve can be used for passive recreation such as biking, fishing, and hiking.

There are seven walking trails in the nature preserve. Most trail lengths are under a half mile; perfect for a casual stroll through nature.
