About Wolf Creek Park
Wolf Creek Park, south of Fremont is located along the Sandusky River area designated “scenic” by Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Natural Areas and Preserves. This beautiful Ohio setting includes gravel roads, parking area, play equipment, grills, well water, restrooms, open play area, nature trails, and access to the Sandusky River for canoeing, fishing, and camping. The Ohio Buckeye Trail runs through the trail system at Wolf Creek Park. Wolf Creek campground has 24 “primitive” sites, with no hookup for water or electric, at a rate of $15.00 per site/per night. The campground is open April 1st through December 31st, and each site includes a table and fire ring. Nature trails are open year-round from 8:00 a.m. until dark. Cross-country skiing permitted with your own equipment. Snowmobiles prohibited.
