About this Location

The purchase of the Creek Bend Farm was made possible in 2002 by a generous donation from the Robert and Frances Roush Family and a grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission’s Clean Ohio Conservation Fund and Ohio Department of Natural Resources Coastal Restoration Grant Program. The property, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was the home of Fran Roush and Bob Roush, former Sandusky County Commissioner. November 2014 marked the opening of the Wilson Nature Center. The facility includes a Window on Wildlife and Library, Educational Classroom, Children’s Activity Area, and a small meeting room.

The nature center is closed on Sunday and Monday.
