Shelby Reservoir No. 3 is located northeast of the city of Shelby on London West Road. From the city of Shelby, take OH-61 north to London West Road. Turn east (right) on London West Rd. The entrance to the reservoir is about a half mile east of OH-61.

Shelby Reservoir No. 3 is classified as an upground reservoir. It was built in 1993 by the city of Shelby for use as a municipal water supply. Shelby Reservoir #3 has a surface area of 51 acres. Several reefs and rock piles were constructed throughout the bottom of the lake as fish habitats. Depths in the reservoir range from 12 to 28 feet.
