Canal Park Trail
The Towpath Trail can be walked for approximately 2 miles going south from the park along a levy that travels beside the old Ohio-Erie Canal and Canal Road and eventually running alongside both the Scioto River and the canal.
About Canal Park
Canal Road lies between US-22 near Circleville south to OH-104. This entire road parallels the canal next to the Scioto River and is managed as part of the Canal Park.
The beautiful Canal Park, once owned and cared for by the Pickaway County Historical and Genealogical Society is now cared for by the Pickaway County Park District. It sits alongside the Scioto River and can be accessed off of Canal Road in Circleville.
