About Flat Rock Creek Nature Preserve
Flat Rock Creek Nature Preserve is managed by the ACRES Land Trust.
This preserve contains both upland and floodplain forest divided by the serpentine flow of Flat Rock Creek. The creek and mature forest attract abundant wildlife and provide great scenic vistas. Flat Rock Creek is one of the very few unaltered creeks remaining in the area. Its meandering course has been directed only by its own movement through the centuries.
From Paulding take OH-111 (Wayne Street) west 1.1 miles to OH-500 and turn left (south). Travel 3.75 miles to the preserve on the left.
