About Veterans Memorial Park
Veterans Memorial Park is located just south of the village of Spencer on the west side of OH-301. Park in the lot near the road and walk back to the pools of the Spencer reservoirs.

Western Reserve Land Conservancy helped to protect 47 acres of early successional old field habitat adjacent to the developed portion of Veterans Memorial Park. The park is currently maintained as a passive park with a playground and an array of diverse habitats for fish and wildlife which include old field habitat, hardwood forest, meadow wetlands, floodplain, and Coon Creek, a high quality tributary to the Black River.
