About Beaver Township Nature Preserve
Beaver Township Nature Preserve features a pavilion for educational programs, several picnic areas, a bluebird trail, benches for resting or quitely watching wildlife, and numerous trails through 80 acres of meadows and hardwood forest. Onsite parking is available.
Some of the commonly viewed wildlife one may see while visiting the nature preserve include White-tailed Deer, Wild Turkeys, rabbits, and squirrels.
There are a large number of birds to see which include bluebirds, Tufted Titmouse, Red-winged Blackbirds, Song Sparrows, Black-capped Chickadees, Wood Thrushes, and many others.
Additionally, there have been sightings of various birds of prey. These include Red-tailed Hawk, Cooper’s Hawk and the Kestrel.
