The Museum is Closed on Mondays, New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. There are admission fees.

The National Museum of the Great Lakes site also includes the museum ship S.S. Col. James M. Schoonmaker, and a park with maritime artifacts and beautiful landscaping along the banks of the Maumee River.

The Toledo Skyway Marina is located adjacent to the Museum and provides riverfront access and views of the city.
