Tips for birding Cromwell Park
In 2013 there were 20 or 30 Great Blue Heron nests as well as a Bald Eagle nest across the Black River from the park. The elevated cliffs afford a view of the Herons at nest level, something that’s unusual. Flocks of hundreds of cormorants have been observed at this location as well.
