Tips for birding Thomas J. Evans Foundation Park
Park in the main north parking lot of Foundation Park. There are several access points to the trail east of the parking lot. These entrances join a loop trail that is a half-mile loop through the forest bordering the river, which contains typical forest birds for the area. The riparian block in this park also hosts some more unusual species, including Barred Owl, Northern Parula Warblers, and American Redstarts.
