About Riverview Park
Locally popular for its sledding hill, Riverview Park is situated along the Wild and Scenic Grand River. A .5 mile gravel trail follows the ridge above the river through a mixed forest of hardwood and hemlock trees.
From Riverview Park webpage

Western Reserve Land Conservancy helped permanently protect 15 acres of upland and floodplain forest and a section of the Grand River. Almost 1 mile of gravel trail follows the high ridge above the Grand River through a mixed forest of hardwood and hemlock trees and then descends gradually down to the Grand River floodplain. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, camping, and picnicking. The picnic area includes a shelter and restrooms. Riverview Park offers the steepest, most thrilling sledding hill available in the park district.
