Tips for birding Lake Cascades
Lake Cascades is excellent in early winter for waterfowl and gulls. The lake is one of the last spots in Hancock County to freeze. The best vantage spot is at the end of West Wallace Street, just west of Blanchard Valley Hospital. A scope is helpful but not necessary.
