About Groveport Heritage Park
Located on over 15-acres, Heritage Park is home to the historic Groveport Log House. The Log House was originally built in 1815 and was moved from the intersection of Madison and Main Streets to its current location in Heritage Park. The Log House is available for rent. The Community Affairs Department also offers a number of Nature Center programs at the historic Log House. Kids and adults can both be found with their rod and reel at Palm’s Pond. The pond is stocked annually by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Surrounding the pond is a .75-mile crushed stone leisure path with resting benches and grills. Along the southwest corner of the pond is a picnic shelter. Concerts are periodically held at the Heritage Park Stage during the summer months. The Annual Apple Butter Day Festival takes place at Heritage Park in October. The Groveport Community Garden was also added to the park in the spring of 2012.
