About Dalmore Park
Dalmore Park is 18.6 acres and managed by the City of Dublin. It borders subdivisions of Ballantrae and Cramer’s Crossing. Parking is available along the following streets:
+ West End – Dalmore Lane or Royal Dublin Drive
+ Southern Border – Tayside Circle
+ East End – Stockton Way
On the west end of the park are basketball courts and playground. On the east end of the park are a large pond and a large picnic shelter house with multiple picnic tables. The park is connected with biking and walking paths and in the middle lies a wildflower prairie area that peaks in the summer, as well as an open grassland area and a few nest boxes. The Cramer Ditch also flows through Dalmore Park and provides an area where some waterfowl are spotted. Overflow water spills into a lower stream, and the noise of this occasional running water can attract birds.
The pond is utilized for fishing by local residents, and waterfowl and various species can be spotted in or near the pond throughout the year. Birds can also be spotted flying over the open areas, or while walking along trails.
No restroom facilities.
