Tips for birding Rocky River Park
Rocky River Park, 4.97 acres, provides public access to the lakefront. From its observation decks birders can see from the mouth of the Rocky River to Bradstreet’s Landing. This lakefront location has a small playground, picnic shelter, grills, restrooms and observation decks.

From Lake Road (US-6) turn north on Falmouth Drive to the stop sign at Beach Cliff Boulevard. The park entrance is ahead on the left.

Rocky River Park is a stop on the Lake Erie Birding Trail.

Rocky River Park has a deck which is a great place to set up a scope to view birds on Lake Erie. It is located on Beach Cliff Boulevard north of Lake Road in Rocky River. It is a bit difficult to find on a first visit but well worth the search for viewing birds on the lake.

Benches and a boardwalk on the west side of the park overlook a 50-foot bluff, while the re-graded east side of the park gently slopes to an accessible beach. A 175-foot pier marks the eastern limit of the park and beach. A row of stone blocks placed offshore helps maintain the beach.
