There is parking along Ridgewood Lakes Drive where there is wooden fencing. This road is one way and is accessed from West Ridgewood Drive.
There is also parking along Roycroft Drive. This road is also one way and is accessed from Ridge Road. Most of the lake is viewable from your car from these parking spots. So, a birder can do a quick “stop and scan” visit.
There is also more parking in the water park lot. It can be accessed from Ridgewood Lakes Drive immediately after turning off of West Ridgewood Drive.
Please be careful when driving because the neighborhood families bring their children and dogs to the park. Waterfowl also crosses the roads. Roycroft Drive is used by many drivers to cut through and avoid the nearby intersection. Be careful getting out of your car if you park along Roycroft Drive.
Note that the City of Parma and the Northeast Ohio Sewer District is planning a major rework of this park for neighborhood floodwater control. It was supposed to be completed in 2023. But, residents in that area have delayed the work so they can discuss the changes. This area may be under construction when you visit in the near future; and, it may take a few years for the new plants and trees to take hold.
