About this Location

Coe Lake is situated behind Berea’s City Hall and the Cuyahoga County Library. Once a Sandstone Quarry, it is now an excellent lake for fishing and canoeing. A Gazebo and the Kiwanis Picnic Pavilion highlight the west bank and a footbridge adorns the north end. Coe Lake also has a boardwalk with a pier, a bird and butterfly habitat, and a plaza. The newest improvements are to the west bank where a nature trail and riparian project have made the area accessible to the public. Within the riparian project, the Rotary Club has created outdoor classrooms for all ages of school children.
