About Chilo Lock 34 Park
The park is located on the site of a former US Army Corps of Engineers lock and dam. The highlight of the park is the Chilo Lock 34 Visitor Center and Museum, which offers three floors of exhibits and interactive displays focusing on the history of the Ohio River and locks and dams. A 1.5-acre wetland is located in the park, providing great wildlife watching opportunities. Two picnic shelters are in the park and a steamboat themed playground. The park is adjacent to Crooked Run Nature Preserve.
