The Hockhocking Adena Bikeway traverses the golf course on the north side of the Hocking River providing views of the river.
The Ohio University Golf Course is a 9 hole, par 35 course offering a practice putting green and pro shop. Activities include general recreation, golf tournaments, leagues, and private lessons. The facility is open to university students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community.
The outdoor facilities are committed to improving the quality of life for students, faculty, staff and their families, as well as quality learning and employment experiences for students interested in careers in Recreation and Sports Management. The diverse programs and facilities complement the academic goals of the university by encouraging physical, emotional, and social growth of individuals by developing skills and positive attitudes for leisure through the development of competitive and lifetime activities.
