About Hatches Corners Metropark
Hatches Corners Metropark is 202 acres and features 7,274 feet frontage of the Bear Creek tributary to Conneaut Creek, 34 acres of riparian wetland, 78 acres of wooded upland, and a 90-acre meadow. The property hosts many Ohio listed plants.
Parking is installed with trails soon to be established. Hunting has been permitted to help maintain a healthy deer population.
There is a power easement at the western boundary and the future installation of 20,000 feet of trails will provide opportunities for birding, bridle trail, education, hiking, and photography.
