About Grand River Lowlands Wetland
The Grand River Lowlands Wetland Mitigation Bank is located in northeast Ohio within the Grand River Watershed. The 94.5-acre site is located on Mayfield Road, OH-322, 0.8 miles west of Orwell Ohio, Ashtabula county. The property was formerly used for agriculture. A significant portion of the water that runs through the site is urban run-off from the nearby village of Orwell. The portion of the Grand River where the site is located was recently designated a Scenic River. Wetland restoration and enhancement has been completed.
